Nikon-Standard Quality
The Nikon Z 40mm f2 lens features the very same premium quality and expert craftsmanship features on all Z-mount lenses, and it’s this that enables expectational performance and high-quality image capture. The lens sees an advanced lens structure that’s made up of 6 elements arranged into 4 groups, including 2 aspherical lens elements. This arrangement may be small, but it does not limit the creativity and overall image quality that can be achieved by this lens. So much so that this lens can easily be used as an all-day prime angle lens for both photography and video capture.
Aperture & Focusing
This lens is equipped with an advanced AF system that provides fast, smooth and ultra-quiet performance. This is all thanks to an Internal Focusing (IF) system and powerful STM (stepping motor) AF drive motor that works seamlessly with the lens’s aperture diaphragm. The aperture ranges from its minimum f16 to its maximum f2, allowing the lens to excel in low-, poorly-lit shooting conditions as well as offering expressive control of depth of field. This is particularly useful when utilising the lens’s natural perspective that is excellent for capturing engaging video footage and portraiture.

Can I use this on my Nikon Z-mount DX-format camera?
By all means - The lens offers a 40mm focal length on full-frame bodies but can be used on DX bodies where it offers a 60mm focal length.
Does this come with a lens hood?
This does not come with a hood and there currently is no compatible lens hood.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
