A Quick Guide to Gura Gear’s Best Camera Bags
All of my in-depth reviews have been linked above. Still, here is a very brief overview of the current Gura Gear lineup.
Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0
The Kiboko 2.0 is Gura Gear’s best-known camera bag. It is a backpack designed for nature and wildlife photographers who carry long telephoto lenses. The kiboko is available in 16, 22, and 30L sizes. Read my review here.
Gura Gear Kiboko City Commuter 18L
The City Commuter is a photographer’s EDC bag. It’s designed for travel and city use and features extensive storage and organization for daily-use electronics alongside a moderate amount of camera gear. It has back panel and side access to your cameras. Read my review here.
Gura Gear Kiboko City Classic 18L
The Kiboko City Classic is very similar to the City Commuter but lacks side access. Instead, it gains a padded, zippered compartment on top of the bag in place of the roll-top of the City Commuter. Read my review here.
Gura Gear Mara Duffel
Gura Gear designed the Mara Duffel as the perfect companion to its camera backpacks. The Mara comes in four sizes: 40L, 60L, 80L, and 100L. Made from the same ultralight X-Pac VX21 sailcloth as their camera bags, they’re ideal for weight-limited flights within Africa and to other remote locations such as Antarctica. Read my review here.
Gura Gear Chobe 2.0
The Chobe shoulder bag is designed as the perfect “personal item” companion to a Kiboko backpack for your carry-on kit during air travel. The Chobe comes in two sizes: 13L and 16L. Padded camera cubes are optional. Read my review here.
