Peak Design’s wildly popular range of camera straps gains a new option this week in the form of their new Coyote colorway. While the new Coyote straps are functionally identical to the other four colorways in the Peak Design camera strap catalog, the Cuff and Leash Coyote models now contain 35% recycled nylon, marking a first for the brand. Just like the existing colors, the Slide and Slide Lite continue to be solution dyed–a manufacturing process that requires much less water and energy than other manufacturing processes. Peak Design says these changes are important to the company’s sustainability initiatives. The new color also debuts in its camera and travel bag lineup as part of the Peak Design Coyote X-Pac collection.

Peak Design’s camera straps have always been popular with my readers, so I was excited about this launch as they rarely change designs or add colors to their lines. A few weeks before its launch, I was sent one of the new Coyote Slide straps, and I must say, the new Coyote color is hands-down my new favorite in the catalog.

Peak Design’s camera straps are now available in five colors: Black, Ash, Midnight, Sage, and Coyote.
