What Is the X-Pac Ocean Edition?

Travel Backpack 45L
The Peak Design Travel Backpack is a do-it-all backpack for one-bag world travel or camera bag configuration using accessory camera cubes. Only the largest 45L version of the bag is available in the Coyote X-Pack collection.
Travel Duffel
The Peak Design Travel Duffel is available in four sizes. Only the 35L and 50L sizes are part of the Coyote X-Pac collection.
Everyday Sling
The Peak Design Everyday Sling is available in 3L, 6L and 10L. At least at launch, only the 3L and 6L variants are available in the X-Pack collection.
Wash Pouch
The Peak Design Wash Bag is similar to the Tech Pouch but tweaked to hold your travel wash kit accessories. It uses different internal materials that are much easier to clean and features a toothbrush pocket in each size. The Wash Bag comes in two sizes, and both are available as part of the new X-Pac collection.

Peak Design has historically relied on its proprietary Versa Shell™ canvas fabric to strike the perfect balance of durability, sustainability and aesthetics in its Everyday and Travel Line bags. However, an early 2024 collaboration with X-Pac®–a brand and fabric whose origins exist within highly technical sail cloth–led to a limited edition run of Peak Design Coyote X-Pac® Everyday and Travel Line bags. Customer praise for the Coyote X-Pac® collaboration was instant, convincing Peak Design to explore ways to make the Coyote X-Pac® fabric shell a permanent and exclusive purchasing option alongside Peak Design’s own Versa Shell™.
Working hand-in-hand with X-Pac® Peak Design ensured the sustainability of its newest fabric mirrored the rigorous standards set by Peak Design’s own Versa Shell™. As a result, X-Pac® introduced the Coyote colorway to their VX-21 Ocean Edition fabric, licensing the material/color combination exclusively to Peak Design. Manufactured in Putnam, CT, VX-21 Ocean Edition is composed of 100% recycled fishing nets and is PFAS-free. The material has a multilayer laminated construction that utilizes X-PLY®, a post-consumer recycled polyester ripstop thread that is diamond stitched at 22° across the fabric. Coyote X-Pac® VX-21 Ocean Edition fabric is not only aesthetically striking but has a superior hand feel worthy of a permanent place on 11 specially selected Peak Design Travel and Everyday line bags and pouches.
