Photographing Morant’s Curve in Banff National Park – How, When and Where

Morant’s Curve is a bend in the railway that runs between Banff and Lake Louise, right through Banff National Park. The curve happens to have a spectacular mountain backdrop, and it’s easy to photograph it from a pullout on the side of the Bow Valley Parkway. Highway 1A (Bow Valley Parkway section) runs parallel to Highway 1 between Banff and Lake Louise.
