Best Black Friday & Cyber Monday Photography Deals

I’ve dug through the piles of emails from brands and retailers, and put together a list of what I think are the best deals this year. Black Friday is a hectic day for online shopping, but there are some genuinely amazing deals in this list.

Specific Photo Gear

Peak Design

Everything on the Peak Design website is on sale for their Black Friday event, and the brand new Travel Line (reviewed here) is now shipping as of today. We have an extensive archive of Peak Design reviews if you need more information.

The sale starts at 12am on Thursday and runs through to 11:59pm on Monday.

Think Tank Photo

Think Tank are running an insane deal on the Airport Advantage Plus roller bag – 50% off while supplies last! Their rolling travel bags are the gold standard when it comes to this type of camera carrying solution and there’s a damn good reason why every media room at any major event is stacked from floor to ceiling with Think Tank rollers! I have never seen them discount one like this before, so I hope they really stocked their warehouse because I think this one will be a real door buster.

The roller bag sale starts at 12am on Black Friday and ends on Sunday, or when they run out of the bag, which I personally suspect will be before Sunday because this deal is silly.

On sale at nearly-as-ridiculous 40% discount through December 2nd are Think Tank’s Spectral shoulder bags, UltraLight backpacks, Signature shoulder bags, Sidepath backpack, and Multi-Mount holsters.

If you spend over $50 after clicking through any of these links to the Think Tank site, you’ll also get the chance to select a free gift at the checkout stage.

Custom SLR

These guys make some incredibly comfortable neoprene camera straps and for Thursday and Friday only, they will have some of them on a 50% discount. If you spend more than $50 they will throw in a free gift.

Henry’s

If you’re in Canada, Henry’s have free shipping with no minimum order value, and they also have a to of additional deals.

Improve Your Photography

The 5DayDeal Photography Bundle is back for 72 hours!

The bundle includes products from Trey Ratcliff, Zack Arias, Serge Ramelli, Alex Koloskov, Frank Doorhof, Lindsay Adler, SLR Lounge, and many more. BONUS: The bundle includes a full copy of Luminar from Skylum Software. If you were thinking of buying Luminar anyway (it’s also listed on this page), you might as well spend s few dollars more and get an extra $2400 worth of photography education videos and ebooks.

Photo Editing

Topaz Labs

Topaz Labs are running a 25% storewide sale with even bigger savings on some specific bundles. If I were you, I would be paying particular attention to the new AI software that they have been launching. In fact the AI Gigapixel software has the potential power to completely change the way photographers think about creating prints and using megapixels. I have been testing it and it’s blowing my mind…

The sale starts on Thursday and runs for one week.

Brought to you by the clever folks at Skylum Software.

On1 RAW 2019

Get On1 RAW 2019 for only $99.

Watermarking Your Images

Using a professional looking watermark on your images is something that I believe is important. In the past I have reviewed a cool service called Photologo, who make hand-drawn signature logos to use as watermarks. You can read my review here.

For Black Friday, Photologo are offering an additional 25% discount off their services. for the first 100 people. That means you can get your own unique logo for just $29.

BONUS: They also make a great piece of software that is designed to add watermarks to your image, called Photopolish. If you don’t have software like Lightroom or Photoshop, adding the watermark can be a pain in the ass, especially if you have to do it to a whole folder of photos.  Photopolish takes the pain out of this process and it’s on sale for 50% off for Black Friday.

Photography Websites

I’m a big fan of creating photography websites with WordPress. If you are too, then these WordPress deals might be of interest to you:

SmugMug

If you don’t want the added complexity of WordPress websites and want to keep it simple, SmugMug has a 40% discount on their websites. This includes the unlimited plan which gives you unlimited online storage, so it’s also a good backup option as well as a great way to build a website.
