During the launch of the Fuji XT-4 camera, the X Mount lens roadmap was also updated. In this instance it was a relatively minor update to add the following:
Fuji XF 50mm f/1.0 WR (a lens we already knew about from Fuji)
Not a very groundbreaking update to the roadmap to be honest, but if nothing else I still find these diagrams a useful way to analyze the overall lens lineup of a specific brand. You can also view the Fuji GF lens roadmap here.

Hello Dan
I would just like to say thank you for an informative and helpful site, also thanks for making the muddy water of the exposure triangle a lot clearer. I have recently purchased a Fuji X T2 body only. So I was looking for a prime lens to start, I shoot mainly landscape a bit of portrait and street photography. I also like macro photography. I am unsure whether to go with the XF56 F1.2R APD or the XF 50mm F2 R WR, whilst I realise there is no definitive lens I would appreciate any advice even if it differs from my two choices. Many thanks.
Hi David. Thanks for the kind words. I would go with the 50mm f/2 out of that particular pair. The f/1.2 is a very specialist lens for people who only shoot portraits IMO. The 50mm f/2 is far more versatile if it’s a 50mm lens you want.
